Audio Vault ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed by AimPulse. This privacy policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

Audio Vault is designed with privacy in mind. The App collects and processes the following information:

• Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we access your basic profile information (name, email) and your Google Drive storage — solely to create and manage a dedicated folder for your backed-up audio files.
• Audio Files: The App accesses audio recording files stored in a directory you explicitly select on your device. These files are uploaded to your own Google Drive account.
• Device Storage: The App reads and writes files on your device only within the directory you select and an archive sub-folder ("Backedup-files").

2. How We Use Your Information

• Google Drive Backup: Your audio files are uploaded directly to your personal Google Drive under a "Call Records" folder. We do not store, copy, or access your files on any server other than your own Google Drive.
• Authentication: Google Sign-In is used solely to authorize the App to access your Google Drive on your behalf.
• Background Sync: The App may run a background service to periodically sync new audio files to your Google Drive. This requires foreground service and notification permissions.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All audio files are stored in your own Google Drive account. We do not operate any external servers or databases that store your files.
• Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device and are never transmitted to third-party servers.
• The App uses HTTPS for all network communications.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In — for authentication (Google Privacy Policy)
• Google Drive API — for file storage in your personal Drive
• Firebase — for app initialization and configuration (Firebase Privacy)

5. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• Storage / Media Access: To read audio files from your selected directory
• Internet: To communicate with Google Drive
• Foreground Service: To sync files in the background
• Notifications: To show sync progress
• Battery Optimization Exemption: To ensure reliable background syncing

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third party. Your files go directly from your device to your Google Drive account.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored on your device and your personal Google Drive, you have full control over your data at all times. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored preferences and cached data. Files on Google Drive remain until you delete them manually.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
